MIXED EVENT NEWS Mixed Event Sponsors for 2010 are Golf Fusion and Greerton Super Liquor.  Please support these businesses who have been so generous in their sponsorship this year. Anzac Day saw our largest field with 100 players participating and the weather was superb and very warm.  Congratulations to the winners: 1st   Anne and Bruce Partridge 2nd  Christine Shaw and Barry Clement 3rd   Bev and Ian McCallum Just a reminder that the next Mixed Combined day is this Sunday 23rd May commencing at 11.30 am.   Please put your name on the sheet in the Clubhouse by Wednesday 19th May or give Claire a call and she will enter your name. The cost to enter for Tauranga Golf Club members is $5 per player. We welcome partners who are members of another Club.  They will be required to pay a $15 green fee plus the $5 entry fee.   They must have an official handicap to be eligible for the day’s competition. Due to the early start for the winter months we are trying a sausage sizzle which will be available from 11am for you to have a snack before you start your round. Grant tells me he is getting in some “decent” sausages for the occasion! The last two rounds of the competition are to be held on Sunday 13th June and Sunday 25th July so please mark these in your diary.   We have been spoilt with fabulous summer weather but lately the rain seems to have arrived and I am hoping we will have a fine sunny day on Sunday.
